gmail synchronization

Anyone know whether one can get synchronization between outlook and gmail so
the 2 view are the same. If I delete a message in outlook 2003, it is not
deleting the message in gmail even after hitting the send receive option.
Same problem when i delete a message in gmail, the next sync does not remove
it from Outlook

Are you using POP3 with Gmail? That's normal behavior...when you download a
message to Outlook from Gmail via POP3, the copy in Outlook will stay there
until you manually delete it, and Gmail won't remove it from their end.

Yes. Using POP3. Is there another option that will allow 2-way
synchronization? Thank for your info.

I don't think so, but you can always check Gmail Help or ask in one of their
forums.

Thanks for following up. I found out that if you use IMAP rather than POP3,
you get the sync feature.
