Globally turn off the Preview Pane

I am trying to set my preview pane to off for all folders. I understand
there may be a command line switch to do this one time. Then I can turn them
on the folders i would like. Can someone tell me what that command is?

start->run->outlook.exe /nopreview

Thank you but this did not turn them off permenantly. I am looking for the
switch that will reset all folders to nopreview then I can turn on the ones I
am need. This only set nopreview for the 1 time I used the switch.

it's either on or off. if you add that switch to the shortcut you normally
use, they will be off when you start outlook and you can turn them off and
on as needed. In older versions of outlook it;s all or nothing - if on on
one folder, it's on in all.
