Global template

Lately, every time I start Word, the default document is an envelope. New
Blank Documnet also loads an envelope. When I try to add in a new Global
Template, I get a message telling me that the global template is already in
use. Any ideas on how to reload the default for the global, or can I create a
new one...if so, how?

I have my MOUS certification and I can ususally find my way out of anything
in Office 2000 or XP.
