Global Template

Hi,

would someone be kind enough to advise. I keep getting an error message when
i close word down "Changes have been made that affect the global template,
Normal.dot. Do you want to save those changes?

I have not made any changes to the normal.do document but it keeps on asking
me the question. Is there a way in which i can stop this message from
appearing.

Are you sure you aren't working directly on the Word main template
(which is normal.dot)? Do you make a new document or are you working
with something old (possibly the template)?

Otherwise, please post your question in a newsgroup specifically set up
for the MS Word program. You'll have Word experts looking at your post
there (of which I am not one or I'd tell you The Answer). Here is a
