Give Calendar permissions to distribution list

P

Pasi

we have Exchange 2007 server enviroment with OL2003 & 2007 clients. In same
Exchange server there is multiple different organisations.

First, is there any way to manage centrally from exchange server f.e 2
default permissions to all our users; f.e everybody can see calendar
appointments but only inside my organisation is seeing details of
appointments?

if that is not possible then:

- I was able to give "low-level" default permission for everybody in our
excange to see is my time free or reserved but

- for some reason I was not able to choose detail-viev and then choose
distribution list of our company. Is this right or is there some
configuration problem in exchange srv?

- second I also was not able to paste copied members when I choosing members
to see my calendar (like when doing DL:s I can paste email-addresses).

Is there any clever way to pick about 100 members from all users list
containing about 3000 users? I haven't found any sorting options in choose
members section.

The admin can use PFDavAdmin to change permissions on the server.

not sure why you couldn't choose the DL group - it is possible to assign
permission to security groups (and is recommended instead of giving a large
number of individual accounts permission)

where are you pasting the copied names? I'm not aware of any sorting tricks
to make it go faster.
