Gigabyte BIOS update query

Can anyone tell me it is possible to update the BIOS on a Gigabyte GA71XE
board to recognise large (200GB) drives.
I cant find an update to to more than 75Gb drives
Any help please

75GB isn't a real HDD limit in their bios, more likely it's just
the max drive capacity they tested at the time. Even if your
bios can't recognize 200GB, it should support up to 128 GB.
Providing you were looking at their bios notes and there wasn't
a release specifically supporting drives over 128GB, or listing
"48 bit LBA" support, it looks like 128GB is the limit.
