Gigabyte 9800 Pro

Have just bought and installed the Gigabyte 9800 Pro.
As far as I can tell the installation went without hitch but as I'm still
feeling my way around and haven't yet fully tested the card with one of the
latest games or benchmarked it I'm not yet counting my chickens yet.

However I've had my first session with Serious Sam (one of 5 games supplied
by Gigabyte) and you could say I'm really impressed.

The prime reason for this post is to seek help/advice with the following
questions:

There are two display adapter enties in Device Manager - Radeon 9800 Pro and
Radeon 980 Pro Secondary. I'm assuming this is to provide for the dual
monitor option. Am I right.

I've downloaded the latest Catalyst 3.6 drivers from ATI. Does anyone have
any experience of installing these to a 9800 Pro. Are the changes over
version 3.2 worth having.

I've also downloaded the latest VTuner driver from Gigabyte. I'm sure I've
read somewhere that the version supplied on the Gigabyte CD doesn't work.
Anyone know how to install this. I've tried double clicking the downloaded
icon but nothing seems to happen.

Thanks in anticipation.

Thanks for confirmation re primary/secondary.

Vtuner is not just for AIW cards. Its purpose is to allow for adjustment,
tweaking, overclocking of the cards core and memory clock settings.

I wasn't intending to install the Need for Speed game since like the other 4
games provided its pretty ancient by todays standard. However in view of
your problem I have installed it temporarily and as far as I can tell it
seems to run OK.

My setup is:
Asus A7N8X Deluxe
Athlon 2800+ Barton
2 X 512 PC3200 DDR
Win xp (home)

I had to go into the vtuner file then click setup to get it to work on mine.
straight from main menu did not work.
