Gifs Don't Animate

E

Ellen Cecil

I just recently re-published my site (www.pcbasicsplus.com) using Front Page
2003. Now, when I view web pages in IE 6.0, the GIF's are not animated.
When I view the same pages in Netscape, or on another PC in IE, the GIFs
look just fine. Does anyone know what the problem might be (and how I can
fix it?

Thanks..EP Cecil

In IE. Tools | Internet Options | Advanced. Scroll to Multimedia and
check "Play Animations..."

The animations work fine for me (using IE 6.0).

Animated GIFS can be set to play or not to play - depends on a lot of factors,
including your firewall (which might be blocking animated ads for instance, can
also block legit animations) and whether the option is set under INternet
Tools/Options.
