Animated GIFs no longer move

I have a small number of animated .gifs in my FP generated website These
..gifs have worked for several years, but have now all suddenly "died",
and no longer move. I have tested the site in Internet Explorer 6.0,
Mozilla 1.4, Opera 7.11 and Netscape 7.1, and the result is the same in
all the browsers, none of the .gifs move. So I've begun to suspect that
I may have accidentally changed some settings in FrontPage2000 that have
turned off gif animations, but can't find any topic in FP-help on the
problem, so I wondered if anybody here perhaps might have some idea
about what can have gone wrong? Other animations such as two different
marqees work OK though.

I forgot to add that all animated .gifs work in FP-preview mode, as well
as when opening the local html files in IE 6.0 I guess that, indicates
it's a server issue?

Did you specify a different size of the image under picture properties?

If that's not it, do you have a url so we can check?

I've been sneeking around the world turning off all the animated gifs I can
find. Hehehe!
