gif file dimensions change in office 2003

Hi, I recently upgraded to office 2003 and have found a
problem with saving powerpoint slides as gif files.

In office 2000 if you saved a slide as a gif, the
dimensions were set to 720x540, but in office 2003 the
size is now 960x720.

so the files size is bigger now and when I post the files
on the web they appear distored and can't be read.

Can anyone advise how to save a gif as 720x540 size in
powerpoint 2003?

Thanks

Russ

Read this Microsoft Knowledge Base Article for how it CAN be done (but be
careful when fiddling with registry changes!):

Kind regards,

Hi, thanks but I tried this but it didn't work.

I checked an older gif I created in ppt 2000 and the dpi
was also 96 (the default)

its a problem with the dimensions rather than the dpi.

any ideas??

Thanks

Yep. This will explain what you need to do:

Improve PowerPoint's GIF, BMP, PNG, JPG export resolution
