change gif file dimensions

Dom Buckley

Hi, when I saved a slide to a gif file in powerpoint
2000, the dimensions were set to 720x540, but in office
2003 the default size is now 960x720.

I need to user picture manager to change every gif file
back down to 720x540 which is a real pain!

Is there a way of changing the default gif size in
powerpoint 2003 to 720x540?

I tried this fix here but it didn't work.

Thanks

This will explain how to get the size GIFs you want via a choice of several
different methods. May not set the default for PPT but will at least get you
there quickly:

Improve PowerPoint's GIF, BMP, PNG, JPG export resolution

I guees you can do it in VBA or C# by setting
Presentation.PageSetup.SlideHeight, etc. before doing ..SaveAs( ...)
