.gif attachments

Sometimes when I recieve an email with a .gif attachment, I can read it on
the mail, along with the text...i.e as a part of the mail it self..but when
ever I try attach a.gif to a mail, it doesnt get viewed in the mail but only
as an attachment...
can anyone tell me how to make a.gif file visible on the main body of an
email..

You must compose in HTML and you must use Insert>Picture to embed the image
in the HTML. You cannot attach it.
