Ghosting XP

HI,
i am attepting to use Ghost 2002 to ghost my drive.
when i switch to the ghosted drive with the original
unplugged and i attmept to log in is says it cant verify
licencing!!
i can however boot to the ghosted drive with the old one
plugged in!!

how are you supposed to make a copy of your OS?

i am using licencing by MAPS. so i assume some sort of
corp xp pro.

Scott,

Sounds like a similar problem we had which turned out to be trying to Ghost
an OEM version of XP Pro, not a Volume Licensing version of XP Pro.

Did you Ghost from drivr to drivr or drive to Image or
partition to image ?

drive to drive! i have done this several times with
clients computers, i think i am pretty sure i have done
this several times before with this computer.
maybe this is the the first time i actually tried booting
to it.
