Ghosting XP Pro - Activation issue

G

Gerald

Hi There,

Have purchased both OEM XP for 39 pc's as well as
received Full Packaged Product from Microsoft emPower for
39 machines of Windows XP Pro and trying to ghost. The re-
activation occurs and wont let me do it on the other
machines. am well and truly licenced but need a simple
solution to deployment as loading each pc individually
with Office XP Pro is simply not feasible. Is there a
work around this ?? I wish to use ghost that have also
purchased (version 7.5) with licences for each machine.
There has to be an easy way ??

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Gerald,

I am assuming that all 39 of these PCs are for your company use.
You should not have bought either OEM or full packaged retail product.
You should have bought a Volume License agreement (since you have more then
5 PCs) this give you VL media and keys that you can deploy using Ghost etc.
Call your reseller and see if they will except a return.
Other wise you will have to activate each machine with a unique Product ID
and then activate over the Internet.
