Ghosting in Word 2007

Sometimes when working on a document in Word 2007 (and previous
versions as well, but not as frequent), I get menus that ghost once
I'm finished using them. I'm not talking about the feature ghost
menus, I'm talking about a "remnant" ghosted menu window that remains
on screen, and is easily wiped by scrolling up or down to remove it.
What's up with that? It's irritating. Every version of Word I've used
has had it. Anyone know why this occurs, and if there's a fix for it?

This is most likely a limitation of your Windows display driver. See if
there's an update from the manufacturer of the display adapter and/or reduce
the hardware acceleration of your display driver.
