Ghost EWF Disk partition

I'm having a problem ghosting a ewf partiton.

here is what my runtime looks like:
partition #1> 2 GB - OS
partition #2> 2 GB - overlay
partition #3> 2 GB - Pagefile
partition #4> 65 GB - DATA partition

Installed all my after fba applications onto system and ran ghost.

ewf doesn't work after.
Please let me know what the best way of cloning systems.

Thank you,

Manny,

If you are really wanting to clone an image with EWF enabled, then use -IR switch of Ghost.
This will copy MBR and partition table.

Personally, I'd think that ghost is not the best tool for cloning your image since you are using such huge partition sizes. Even
with compression it may probably be a fairly large GHO image.
What I'd do is either:
- Deploy pre-FBA image to all devices. Here you'd need to componentize all your apps (or at least have them installed
automatically at run time during FBA) and automate all the custom steps you are currently doing after FBA manually. Typically any
setup you do with GUI can be automated.
- Setup post-cloning steps that will enable EWF and do whatever else you may need to do in post cloning phase.

Either way you go you'd probably want to automate the target device storage preparation with tools like diskpart, format, etc. These
steps can be done manually (by a technician, e.g.) or automated with an image based on small XPe setup or WinPE.

All the above have been implemented on various targets by many folks here.
