Ghost an External Hard Drive

I want to take an image backup of my MP3 player but it seems Ghost
(version 9.0) doesn't recognise external drives. My MP3 player is an
Archos Gemini and it acts as a standard drive, appearing in Windows
Explorer.

Is there any way of getting Norton to recognise the external drive?

You would have to ask Symantec about their product. Here are some links:

products at CastleCops (I don't know if Ghost is covered)

My MP3 is bascially an external hard drive with a few whizzy things
added to categorize and play sound files. Is anyone else able to backup
an external USB 2.0 hard drive from the Ghost console?
