Barely get working with a website, and this stupid thing
comes up and knocks you off the site.
How do you get rid of this pain in the a$$?

Can you be a bit more specific about your problem.. Like more information on
the runtime error, what you are doing when you are getting it, etc?

First thing to do is turn off script debugging in Internet Options (IE
Tools/Options) / Advanced settings.
