Can someone help me, I have never used windows mail before and have a new
laptop and I'm trying to open an account, I am currently using hotmail and
tried to set it up using hotmail address but it doesn't work. I read into
it a bit and it's saying get my e-mail details from e-mail provider, I am
lost. I'm not big on computers so don't understand the pop etc that it's
looking for, can someone who knows what the hell they are talking about
please advise me on how I set up an account .... please!!!

Hi Susan,
Your email provider is most likely your ISP. It appears your ISP is
blueyonder. You will find step by step setup instructions here: (scroll down
to about 20% from the bottom)

Windows Mail does not handle Hotmail accounts.
If you don't care about your ISP (Blueyonder) email service and just
want to use Hotmail, you can do so either by using a web browser,
or by upgrading to the newer Windows Live Mail program:
