I need to set up a database for the sale of art prints. I am not sure what
information belongs in what table and how to link them together. I would
greatly appreciate someone allowing me to IM so that I can get started.
Thanks in advance for any responders.

suggest you take a look at the Access templates available from Microsoft, at
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/CT011323731033.aspx
to see if one will suit your needs.

if you decide to build your own database, you're on the right track in
focusing first on defining your tables/relationships. to learn the
principles of data modeling, one good text is Database Design for Mere
Mortals by Michael Hernandez. you can also find normalization information at
http://home.bendbroadband.com/conradsystems/accessjunkie/resources.html
under Database Design 101.

once you've read up on the principles of data modeling and defined your
tables/relationships, you can post a description of same to
microsoft.public.access.tablesdbdesign, and ask for a critique, if you like.
