Getting Rid of SP2 Download

G

Guest

Running XP Home Edition: MS downloaded SP2, even though I had changed
(probably too late) my automatic update setting to avoid this. I do NOT wish
to install SP2 at this time, and have it on CD for when I do decide to
install it.

My question: How do I delete the download??

Thanks!

Hi

Clean out the Download folder (WU5's temporary download folder)
located here:

%windir%\SoftwareDistribution\

(%windir% is typically C:\Windows)
