Hi folks-

I recently updated all my drivers and downloaded about a month's worth
of Windows updates, plus installed Nokia PC Suite 6.2 on my IBM T30
Laptop running XP Pro SP1.

A couple days later I noticed a system tray icon labeled "Advertised
Programs Wizard" which seems to be apiec of MS software. A little
detective work showed it was related to the SMS process, which I
disabled, and it seems gone...

But, where did it come from in the first place? And, by disabling SMS,
what else have I impacted?

I'd like to know the specifics if at all possible.

Thanks in advance for any knowledge!

Marc
