I am trying to connect to my home server remotely from
behind a firewall that has blocked a lot of ports. Port
21 is open so I forwarded my router port 21 to port
3389. How do I get RDC to connect to port 21 instead of
port 3389? would it be something like servername:21 or
what? Please help.

James

Yes, using the port is what you need to do, however, you won't be able to use servername:21. You'll need to use the IP address of your home router, or the fully qualified domain name.

Examples:

24.60.189.123:21
http://www.yourpcsdomainname.com:21
