getting programme to run

how do I get a prog compatible with Widows95/98 to run on Windows xp? I have
loaders it but it will not work ,what do I have to do please?

Make sure you have compatibility mode checked on the property options
(Right click on the icon you are using to start the program.)

No all older programs will run on XP.
