getting pinnacle 9Plus to run on windows xp

total newby so pse be kind!
Have windows xp and sony dcr-hc42e pal, got pinnacle 9plus and first time i
connected up with ieee1394 ok. now it wont, windows tells me to select 1394
bus controller device ohci compliant ieee 1394 host controller, click
properties button which i have done, then it says go to settings tab=am
unable to find it, tried all the different things around on there but no
settings tab.

anyone able to help me pse, like i say total idiot on all things computer.
tks anyone?

Hi John,
I'm using Pinnacle Studio 9 with no problems.
Have you contacted Pinnacle support?
