Getting Object Library Not Registered - Microsoft Visual Basic

When I open up Excel XP (2002), I am getting this error. I recently
installed Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard and thought this may have caused the
problem. None of the normal plug-ins from the adobe software were visible on
excel tool bar. I un-installed the application and am still getting the
same error. I should mention I also have a version of Excel 2000 on my
computer, which opens with no errors and works with the adobe acrobat 6.0
plug-ins. Please advise how I can resolve this issue , so I stop getting the
error message and can use adobe 6.0 within excel xp.

Adobe Acobat 6.0 is a complete bug program. There are at least 4 major
upgrades for this program that you have to apply one after each other. At
least for my language....

If you can affort it buy a new one. If you only need to make a pdf, there
are free programs such as CutePDF to use.

Oeps, I forgot the other part of your question.

Adobe puts some DOT files in a map that don't belong there and are still
present after deinstall. Search for pdfcreator.dot or *.dot files in the
Office XP tree. Rename the dot files in txt and see if the problem stops
and if so delete them.

That is what I can rember with a symptom we had in our office.
