Compile error in hidden module: cRegistry

This is also posted at Adobe, but I figured I should try to find help here
also.

Loaded Office 2000 and then Adobe St 8.1.1 onto a fresh image of XP SP2.
Now when client launches Excel he receives the annoyance error:
Compile error in hidden module: cRegistry

Excel will function but I'd like to resolve this error.
I repaired both Acrobat and Office
Reinstalled components of each also.
Still same error.

There are no items in his XLStart folder either so I am open to other
troubleshooting steps or fixes to try.

You can ignore this question.
Client installed another application which loaded a plug-in which is PW
protected and is causing the error message.
