I am getting a new system and would like to keep all my programs and
settings from my old system. I have a slave hard drive in my old system and
will be putting it in my new system. So at first my new system will have
only a 160GB drive. I will not be able to use transfer files and settings
program because of this.
I have Norton Ghost and would like to use it. If I do will this cause
any problems since I have a new motherboard in the new system?
Is it possible for me to make a partition on my new hard drive with
same name as the slave on my old drive and use Transfer files and settings
to that? Can I then move that partition and data to my slave drive after in
stalling it in my new system? I would use Ghost for that.
I would like first to know if the Transfer files and settings program
works OK?
