Getting MSJVM to work (PART II)

D

Donnie

Also, I have downloaded Sun's VM and still nothing. I'm
pretty sure the Sun VM is the VM my browser is set to use.

I've also typed jview at the command line and it shows
build 3810 is installed.

Only one VM is turned on (Sun's), and I've known the MSVM
was installed. I've tried checking and unchecking those
internet options checkboxes and still nothing. I will try
one more time, and post my results. Thanks for all the
help.

A friend of mine also has this problem. I've been trying to troubleshoot it for him, but everything looks fine
I've instructed him to do what it says at http://www.java.com/en/download/help/redximage.js
and if that doesn't work, I told him to try repairing/reinstalling XP. I'll let you know the results when he lets me know
If you're not running XP, try start->settings->control panel->add remove programs, select "microsoft internet explorer", hit ok, and then select "repair internet explorer", this always fixes any problems I have with IE.
