getting movie maker?

this sounds dumb, but I can't find movie maker. I have XP service pack
2 installed, and the MS page says that's how you get it. What am I
missing? Is it just somewhere and I don't know how to launch it? I
can't find a download for it?

Try this: go to Start--run--type in "moviemk.exe" in the run box without
the quotes and hit enter. That should launch it.

Thanks! Found it. I tried importing mpeg files that I can play, and
it says it is not valid because it does not contain any information.

MovieMaker really doesn't play well with mpeg files. Try converting it to
either avi or wmv.
