Microsoft got it together with IE7. With IE6, to erase the tracks, one had
to clear the cookies on one properties sheet, the history on another, the
cache on another and so on. With IE7, they put all these diverse settings
together and one can much more easily clean up IE7. Workers at an oil
company could very quickly clear their laptops of any evidence of visiting
greenpeace.org and so on ..

OK. New issue has reared it's head. Does every second Microsoft app and
service phone home? Or just every third? However many do, whether they do so
or not, should be the user's discretion. A central Windows Transmissions
applet needs to be built and services and programs that come built in or
with the OS should be some how listed (at least) and (preferably) adjustable
from that page. Effects and repercussions can be described for each item.

Comments before I put it in the suggestion box?

Thanks,
Saucy
