Getting HP PSC 750 to work with XP

Have tried installing software/drivers many times. Follow
CD/driver instructions to the 'letter'. Corresponding
with HP help line...

Still does not work... get message files copied but when
Itry to print test page it fails.

This don't sound right at all. Are you sure that you have the
correct CDROM. The disk that came with my HP psc was
for w98, wme, w2000 Mac OS 8 & 9 did not work with
WXP. HP sent me another disk that was explicitly for WXP
and Mac OS X. It might be worth your time to check to make
certain that your USB ports are functioning correctly.

Don't use the CD that came with the printer. Use the updated files from the
HP website:

Try one more COMPLETE uninstall and reinstall using the instructions at:
http://www.coribright.com/Windows/Article one.htm

If you are missing out Step 4, you are simply loading the older corrupted
drivers over and over again!
