Using XP pro, clean install, and everytime I start or reboot my machine, I
get a code 10 - Cannot start service error message on the keyboard, which is
a microsoft internet one, each and everytime.

I have to manually uninstall it, and then refresh the hardware device
manager, which then detects it under plug and play, and installs it fine.

Any ideas as to the problem???

Also has a tendency to also do this to a USB game controller too.

I have had no problems with either of this devices in the past.

Also can not update drivers as none exist for the keyboard.

Regards

Ian

Does this keyboard use a USB connection? If yes, you should install/update
the motherboard chipset drivers. Also, if the chipset is a VIA chipset, you
may need to also install the VIA USB filter drivers.
