getting blank label after valid labels

A search through the archives didn't find what I was looking for, so...

I'm setting up a report to print international address labels using Avery
4014 continuous pin fed labels. There is only the one label across. I've set
up the custom label with the correct dimensions (always a big assumption!)
but when I preview the report I get an address label followed by a blank
label followed by the next address label followed by a blank label.

Shrinking the size of the label doesn't seem to help. There are no error
messages.

What should I be checking? Many thanks, Steve

I save myself a lot of work by using MS Word to setup the label. Just pick
from the Avery number list. No sizing problems that way.

Then use mail merge and a query in Access.

A reasonable approach. I'm trying to stick to Access as my target user may
easily become overwhelmed with options!
