Getting all attachments from Outlook

Toni

I have an old Windows 98 computer with Office 2000 installed. This computer was retired,
but now I need to get all the PowerPoint and Word attachments from Outlook.

Can anyone please tell me how I can search for, and save to the hard drive, all of the
email attachments in Outlook 2000?

Thanks!!!

HAve you transferred a copy of the .PST file from the old machine to the
new machine running Outlook?

My existing WinXP machine uses Outlook 2002 in Internet email mode.

But the Windows 98 machine with Office 2000 uses Outlook 2000 in Corporate (exchange)
mode, so the .PST won't import.

You don't Import! Simply copy the PST to a folder on the hard drive,
then Open Outlook, File, Data file management, and add that file. The
items in the PST are then accessible though the Outlook folders.
