Getting a C++ Runtime error when I try to open outlook. How do I .

I had a trial version of Office 2003 and bought a volume lisence version of
Office XP. I unintalled Office 2003 and installed Office XP. Everything else
seems to work fine except Outlook.

When I try to open Outlook, it first says that it is:

"Unable to open your default email forlders. Could not open the item. Try
again.
OK"

I click on "OK" and it gives me:

"Would you like to open your default File System folder instead?
YES NO"

I click on "YES" and it gives me an error message:

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program: C\PROGRA~1\MICROS~3\Office10\OUTLOOK.exe

abnormal program termination

OK"

I click on "OK" and Outlook completely shuts down.

Does anyone know what is going on with this? I need to get Outlook up and
running ASAP

thanks

Did you make a new profile when you downgraded?

Not sure what you mean by creating a "new profile" before I downgraded?
