Have you tried scanning with either Spybot or Ad Aware?

You may have picked up a nasty from the web which is messing with IE, but is
not a virus. I'd recommend Googling for Spybot and Ad Aware and installing,
updating, and running them to see what else may be lurking in your system.

There are other spyware checkers out there, these are among the most
recommended.

You may have the sasser worm.
