Get song to stop playing in view slide show mode

I put various songs into my powerpoint presentation via the clip organizer.
The songs were downloaded from a Windows Media Player. I edited it so that
each song should stop playing when I click on the sound icon and I made sure
the loop sound was off. When I view the presentation in normal view, it
works fine. But when I view the presentation in slide show, the songs just
keeping looping over and over even after I click on them to stop. Clicking
on them just makes them go back to the beginning of the song, not stop
playing. Any idea what this could possible be?
 
Hi,

I've never been able to get the "stop playing" on click to work. You may
have to use timings.
