I am currently running Windows XP Home and when I run my virus software I
get the error that I have a Netsky.? something virus on the machine. I've
downloaded the Netsky remover from Symantec and run that and it shows 0
viruses found, yet every hour or so my software pops up with a warning that
the Netsky.D virus was found. What am I missing? I've run both Virus scan
and the Netsky remover in Safe Mode.

Disable system restore and reboot. Then enable system restore.
Look in Help and Support from the Start menu for info on System Restore.

There are anti virus News Groups specifically for this type of discussion.

microsoft.public.security.virus
alt.comp.virus
alt.comp.anti-virus

What anti virus software ?

What is the fully qualified name and path to the file(s) that were indicated to be infected
with the Netsky ?
