Get picture wizard

When I used to plug my sony camera in to download
pictures via the usb port, the 'get pictures' wizard used
to appear, but now it doesn't, even thought when I plug
my camera in you can hear it go 'bing bong'. How can I
get the wizard back working again please.

conect your camera and operat it. see that you can see her listed on MY COMPUTER. now go to RUN on STAR and type in the text box the following: REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL. (keep the space between the 32 SH).
now goto : http://www.bigblackglasses.com/staff/downloads/autofix.exe
download it and run it. follow the directions on the screen.
thene close the camera and reboot.

VOALLA !!!!

Please help I am soo challenged. Bought sony camcorder 260. Installed as web cam but somehow device driver died and cant get it working again. Sorry to bother. I have the cd and uninstalled and reinstalled zillion times. Installed my xp pro service pack and norton 2004. argggghhh

Where did it go...i heard the bink sound...but how do you download when that stupid wizard thing won't register? It isn't picking up that it is even plugged in...now wha
if you reply to the email adress, DON"T send it as an attachment. i can't open attachments.

I think I have a similar problem. I had to reinstall
Windows last week. Then, I had to reinstall
applications, drivers, etc. That took some time, but
everything seemed to be fine...except the camera.

Under CONTROL PANEL, the camera, a Canon G3, icon shows.
The camera is also listed properly under DEVICE MANAGER.
But the PICTURES command, GET PICTURES FROM CAMERA OR
SCANNER doesn't recognize it, nor does the camera icon
show in MY COMPUTER.

Now, I can't download any pictures. This is something of
a professional crisis. If you hear of any possible
solutions, please let me know.
