get IE to allow local files into trusted zone

I use a default "home page" which is stored on my E: drive. It includes
some active content that I wish to have available ALL of the time,
mostly mouseovers. It works fine with my default browser, which is not
IE. On the few occasions when I must use IE6, I get the following
security warning when I go to the 'home page':-

"To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this
file from showing active content that could access your computer. Click
here for options..."

How do I tell IE to ALWAYS allow this 'site' or page to use active
content. The site is actually a local file, NOT on the internet, or
intranet, but located on my own E: drive. 'Internet Options - Security'
only seems to want to include WEBSITES into the various zones, sites
preceded by 'http'.

Please tell me that there is a way to allow IE to display this page with
full active access, without having to compromise security from outside
sites.

Thank you

Thanks for your help. I used the second method and it works fine. At
first reading, the MOTW seems to apply to downloaded documents, and may
possibly force them to run at a more restrictive security setting.

This is actually the opposite that I was trying to accomplish, so the
second method was preferable.

Of course, now that I have enabled active elements in My Computer, I
leave myself wide open to the types of take-overs described in the MOTW
page.

Just goes to show...
you can't have everything!
