Gerry Stourport Triple Bypass Surgery

Gerry, The reason I had trouble understanding your posts about moving my
WinXP paging file to a second HDD was that I had triple heart bypass surgery
just before Christmas. I was on some pretty strong drugs, including pain
drugs so my thinking wasn’t what it usually is. I’m 68 years old, and that
doesn’t help either. Nevertheless, I apologize for aggravating you. I would
be aggravated too.

To get at it – I have installed my second HDD – a Seagate Ultra ATA 40GB
using NTFS. My Primary is a WD Ultra ATA 40GB using NTFS. I’ve formatted the
Seagate and defined the whole device as a primary partition. I decided not to
mess with two partitions and moving the paging file.

As you recommended, today I’ll move the Temporary Internet files, Outlook
Express Store Folder, and My Documents folder (using TweakUI) to the Seagate.
Finally, I’ll go into MS Word and Excel and change the file paths to point
to… where? To the My Documents folder in its new location?

Can you think of anything else I can do to refine this or tie up loose ends?

Thank you very much for bearing with me.

Thank you very much for bearing with me.

If you'd had quadruple bypass surgery, would you have posted a FOURTH
time??
