Hi,
does anyone know if XP in English is different ( apart form the language) to
XP in German?
I have the German Version of the game AtlantisIII (Cryo). I downloaded the
game on my PC with English XP. I can start it but then after the first few
seconds of playing the screen goes black and an error report is created. I
have tried every hint and good advice I have been given so far ( Windows
help, reinstall, clean boot, etc.) but it still does not work.
Please help
thanks

Either install an English version of your software program
or install a German version of Windows XP on a separate
partition and dual-boot.

A good third-party partitioning program is Partition Magic 8.

Thanks Carey, I think I go for the easier and cheaper option and buy the
English Version of the game. But before I do, do you thing there is a
possibility to change the files after setup of the game that are different in
the German version? If yes, how do I find out which files and how I have to
change them?

If a program is written in a certain language, you cannot
change that language version unless the author of the
program provides different language version options during
setup, which is highly unlikely.
