Might be a bit off-topic but where's the best place to get the
cheapest deal on genuine XP Home OEM in the UK

I know I can search Google but I also know some of you guys will have
found the better sources. Best I can see so far is Software Galaxy at
£59.00 inc

P.S. I'm NOT after pirate software, only Genuine OEM please

Many thanks

eBay is probably the best, but you need to check the user feed back,
make sure the person you are buying it off isnt knowen for dealing
pireted software.

You probably aren't going to find a price for a geniune copy of XP
Home "FULL" OEM for much less than £59 in the UK. Here in the US, a
similar "FULL" OEM (in shrink-wrap with the COA attached to the
shrink-wrap) goes for $75US-$150US.

Don't know what the current exchange rate is, but isn't £59 somewhere
in the range of $85-$95US (last I checked--years ago--the rate was
about "£1 >= $1.50US" . Considering that the "Full Retail" goes for
$175US-$199US here in the US, that is a pretty good price, about
on-par with current US prices.

Of course, here in the US we have no VAT tacked on to our purchases.
Usually, if I purchase software via the Internet, no tax of any kind
is tacked on to the final price, and many times, shipping is paid by
the seller of the software.

Actualy, 1 USD is worth 55p (0.55 GPB)

Perhaps you should go for some thing like this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WINDOWS-XP-HO...QcategoryZ41887QQtcZphotoQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
of course IF it turns out it isnt what it says it is, you could be out
£35, but the user has 100% and you can complain to eBay and im sure
some thing will happen.
