Genuine product key

Hi all

A friend of mine bought a 64-bit Vista Home Premium, with a genuine
product key. But now he has some doubts about the 64-bit because he ran
into some compatibility problems for certain software like Nero
apparently. Could he reinstall a 32-bit version of Vista Home Premium
with the product key he bought with his 64-bit version, or is that key
restricted to the 64-bit version?

Thanks

Did he buy an OEM or a retail version. If OEM it's tied to that version.
If retail he can order the 32bit DVD and the same product key will work with
it.

might be better to post questions for help with the programs he is having problems with.

I have used some versions of nero on my 64 bit ultimate so it may be something simple.
