When I have been online for about 30 mins, the following
message appears: Generic host process for win32 services
has encountered a problem and needs to close.

If I click ok, the internet connection window appears,
yet the internet is not showing as disconnected in the
taskbar. It does disconnect shortly after this, but when
I try to reconnect, it is not able to.

I have to restart the computer. Does anyone know how to
fix this?

I dont think this is the answer. It only occurs when
using Internet Explorer, and there is no problem with
searching for files.

I have looked for the MS Blast virus, but that doesnt
seem to be the problem.

Then I would suggest that you update your Anti Virus software
and do a full scan. Because you probably have something you don't want.
