Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem

Hi,

When logged onto the internet using a dial up modem, my dad is getting the
following error message.

"Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs
to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

He has XP Home. The system loses its connection. Any Ideas?

I have exactly the same problem when my laptop is connected to modem, but not
to any other wireless connection.

I hope we can get an answer to this frustrating ecanario !!
