Generic Host Process for WIn32 Serices

My Firewall detects this process at startup and has been since I installed
the firewall 2 weeks ago. I set firewall to block it and have noticed no
problem with computer. What is this process and it is it necessary. Thanks,

start, run, cut & paste this line, hit OK. bye bye messenger for good.

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove
