Generic Host Process error

Thanks for your response. However, I do not know what a winsock is, nor a
tcp/ip reinstall. Are you suggesting I do this step, or is this what caused
your problem?

Performing the winsock fix and tcp/ip reinstall have caused my problem.
Makes me think further now...let me try some things out and get back to you.
