General Windows Questions - Older Versions

Hi,

I have some questions regarding Windows 2000 and Windows Me, but I can't
find any newsgroups to post them. Is it ok to post here or are there are
other forums for these earlier versions?

This news group is mainly for XP. Try microsoft.public.windowsme.* for ME.

You are posting with Outlook Express
Scroll up the left side until you find the root of the newsgroups for he
news server you are using.
Click on it and then on the right there is button for newsgroups
Click it and you can view all the newsgroups your newsserver carries - also
you can redownload the list by pressing Rest List button.
There are lots of groups for Windows 2000 under microsoft.public.win2000 and
ME under microsoft.public.windowsme
If you do not see these groups then your ISP newsserver is not carrying
them - use another news server such as news.microsoft.com

Please do not post questions to non relevant newsgroups. The ones you need
are there.
